THE CREATIVE COMPETITION
Modern man now has so many means of developing his creations that the enjoyment
of use is often/always/sometimes lost sight of. DECOoh!appeals to designers and companies/exhibitors who wish to cooperate in order to create, produce and commercialise new objects. During each autumn edition of DECOoh!the go-ahead is given for a new competition whose realisations are exhibited and commercialised at the following spring edition of DECOoh!The subjects of the spring edition of DECOoh! 2012 are: GREEN / WATER / FOOD (La fraise de Wépion & the Mechelse Koekoek).
The two first subjects are explicit enough, even in the broadest sense. The third subject, FOOD, opens up enormous perspectives for cooperation with the decoration sector. In cooperation with specialists of these Belgian quality products, participants can fulfil the realisation of new objects. We offer the designers, architects and final year students in both disciplines the possibility of working with these subjects in cooperation with an exhibitor or a future exhibitor of DECOoh! With this, we wish to create other forms of synergy between the different worlds of creation, publishing, manufacturing and trade. Totally new product concepts, closely intertwined with trade fair DECOoh!, to be seen and followed up in their creation and realisation…every year, this is the agreement for the following editions of DECOoh!
