  1. WATER=LIFE FROM ARIK LEVY / GUZZINI
Arik Levy is part of Omabia, an international non-profit association of professionals, who create projects that focus on improving the quality of life of people with physical difficulties. In collaboration with Guzzini, who decided to offer its competences to design and make it, Arik Levy has created the  WATER=LIFE project by drawing inspiration from nature. WATER=LIFE is a universal ergonomic bottle opener that makes it easier to open bottles of water. A simple action that for some may become impossible.
  2. THE ISLE OF WATER FROM JEAN-MARIE MAQUOI / RITA JORDENS
As of 1972, Jean-Marie Maquoi started bringing innovation to Maq-pon, the family company of his parents, with his own designs. These designs are still modern after all these years. The combination of traditional handmade objects and the designer’s stamp make each item a ‘pièce unique’. Not just the designs get attention; the production process is streamlined according to the strictest modern-day norms. Sustainable renewable materials are always turned into timeless designs in an ecologically sound way. Materials and designs that stand the test of time will be the antiques of the future. All Maq-pon creations worldwide are distributed under the name Rita Jordens.
  3. THE VISITOR FROM GUIDO DELEU / GARDECO
The brasilian ceramist, Selma Calheira, is, on behalf of Gardeco, producing a very distinctive Belgian sculpture by Guido Deleu from Roeselare. After his professional carreer as civil engineer, he has dedicated himself to his passion for art and sculpting. He attended the Academy of Art in Roeselare, followed workshops in Carrara and was nominated in different Art Contests, where he also presented The Visitor. “The Visitor is a very kindly figure, a visitor that you would welcome with open arms. This is perfectly in keeping with Selma’ s vision. She uses local talent and natural raw materials.”
  4. WHIMSICAL, TRIANGLE & TWISTED FROM CORALY SEPULCHRE / D&M DEPOT
D&M Depot launches three masterful collections by this unique artist, Coraly Sépulchre: Whimsical, Triangle and Twisted. Her characteristic turning and baking technique have enabled her to create highly refined designs and achieve surprising contrasts between raw clay and richly coloured glazes. “I like creating movement in this solid mass by deforming it and contorting it or adding different textures into the mass.” stated Coraly. “I am constantly looking for new connections between the utility factor and the beauty of an object and I place a great deal of importance therefore on lightness, airiness and originality.”
  5. PURE FROM PASCALE NAESSENS / SERAX MAISON D’ÊTRE
Together with Serax maison d’être, Pascale Naessens introduced her first line of tableware, ‘Pure’. The author of ‘Mijn Pure Keuken’ found her inspiration for the tableware during her sailing trip in the Mediterranean with her life partner Paul Jambers. For Pascale, her meeting with the Tunisian Sabiha marked the beginning of her fascination with ceramics. ‘Pure’ embodies authenticity and warmth. The tableware is based on organic lines and is made from natural materials that make sharing a meal a pure delight.
